A more expansive location than one might think. Seems worthy of a thorough exploring.
We are unimpressed with the value of this room. Over $200/night, tiny, no AC, very old furniture, dated decor, ripped carpet, no fridge, no tissues, no coffee maker, etc. Beggars can't be choosers but the pet fee is also way too high at $35/night/dog. I will say it seems clean and staff seem nice but I wouldn't call this "lovely" (as other reviewers have put it) whatsoever.
It's better days have come and gone. Needs a major upgrade. It references a concierge; that's whoever is at the front desk. Concierge office always vacant. Website not current. It references wildlife tours & moose tours. All they do is give you a phone # to call. I did, tours not offered as it's hunting season. That was news to the person at the front desk.
It's a very quaint but dated resort... But I suppose that is part of its charm. Could use some updated room amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very comfortable. We had two rooms. One had micro and fridge, one didn't. So you want to be specific. However, the one without had a phenomenal view. A lot of character and charm. Extremely peaceful. ...
