Slow service but good sushi and the Bipanbop is amazing.
The decor and atmosphere is nice. Dim lit bar in the back was where I chose to sit. Upon seating I got a fresh glass of ice water and shortly after ordered a Sashimi dinner and ginger ale. The ginger ale took 30 minutes to come out which was strange because there were very few patrons at the time. The sashimi takes 45 minutes after the order is made. It is an assortment of tuna, salmon, white fish, unagi, and shrimp. There is also a complimentary bowl of white sticky rice served with the sashimi. I asked for some Chojang (초장) and they made some per request. It was pleasant to get a taste of home while in Maine.
TLDR: Food is okay and the wait is abnormally long.
Everything about this place is absolutely superb. Great service. Great atmosphere. The staff wheres original Japanese garb and the drinks and food are absolutely out of this world! Great place
