Barry who owns the place is a great cook, but he comes out to say hello to his guests. See his picture below. Deb who works at the bar is an amazing bartender. She is very friendly and she makes a great drink. She made me a 16 ounce gin and tonic, full strength, with just a little ice in it.
Super yummy food and fun atmosphere. Will be a new stop on every visit to Maine.
My prime rib was delicious and half price on Thursday nights! The blueberry pie for dessert was the best I've ever had. It had the most delicious flaky crust and the filling was the perfect level of sweetness.
Decent option famous for big ole cuts of prime rib!!! The also do pork ribs with an apricot BBQ sauce... However I feel it's more of an apricot sauce with Bar B Q flavoring... I.E. whole lot apricot jelly in there!!!
Great place with activities. Food was brilliant. Beer was plentiful and good selection. Staff were courteous and on hand to serve. Great little dive bar / pub
We LOVED the Funky Red Barn. If you want to be with friendly local folks from Maine (not many tourists) and eat delicious food then you have to go here!
